LIEWOOD is looking for a skilled Pattern maker who is passionate about construction, detail, high quality and who wants to make a difference in a growing company.
You will be a part of a fast-growing global brand, and a dynamic team powered by ambition and passion for design. You will have the opportunity to evolve and learn rapidly with diverse tasks and responsibilities. You will work closely with design, production and suppliers.
You will be responsible for the development of target schedules, modulation, commenting and approval of our products, as support for our purchasing and design team, thereby contributing to an efficient process.
This position is parttime, 30-hour pr. Week.
You will be working from the LIEWOOD Head Office in Copenhagen at Blegdamsvej 124, 2100 Copenhagen Ø. You will report to our Buying Manager.
Your primary work will consist of creating measurement charts, measuring and commenting on all incoming samples. Maintain and secure the fitting of our products and their overall quality. You will work with various product groups within textiles, ranging from wear, underwear, nursery, accessories etc.
With two annual collections, our department is characterized by a dynamic and creative work environment where collaboration, professionalism, and innovation are essential.

It is a requirement that you have experience from a similar position in the textile or fashion, Children industry. Experience with children's clothing is a strong plus, but not a requirement.
As part of our design and production department, you get a wide range of contacts both internally and externally with suppliers. It is therefore important that you are energetic and cooperative.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Measuring proto-, sales-, and production samples (of various product groups)
- Preparing measurement charts and construction guidelines and maintaining them
- Preparing and maintaining size guides
- Commenting on various product groups to our suppliers, with attention to fitting and quality
- Leading fit sessions
- Preparing and updating the PLM system on a daily basis
- Close collaboration with our design, purchasing, and production team
- Various ad-hoc tasks
Does this sound like you?
It is a requirement that you have experience from a similar position in the textile or fashion, Children industry. Experience with children's clothing is a strong plus, but not a requirement.
- You have experience with fitting and commenting on samples
- You have a high personal drive and are committed to the role
- You have a good understanding of form and shape
- You have an excellent understanding of garment construction/tailoring and good fits
- You have good knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with PLM is an advantage (Knowledge of 3D is an advantage but not a necessity)
- You are a trained pattern maker, preferably with relevant experience from Fashion or Children design
- You are structured and keep an overview with attention to detail
- You possess good collaboration and communication skills and take ownership
- You are proficient in English, both written and spoken, and have good communication skills, including knowledge of technical drawings being an advantage
- You thrive in a fast paced environment and can adapt to change
- You have a high degree of precision
