About this opportunity
Welcome to the Web Analytics & Online Optimization team. We add value by supporting our business units with collecting online data, providing insights and performing optimization of the online business.
Additionally we are responsible for the online privacy (e.g. Cookie Compliance) across Nordea, group wide. As our Online Privacy Specialist you will be the main responsible online privacy person going forward. The role is both strategic and hands-on. You will be defining the path going forward by being the link between key stakeholders from business to legal, to IT – as the Online Privacy Specialist you will, to a great extent, work cross-disciplinary. You will take part in creating the continuous standards of the cookie compliance solution, general consent management, as well as executing and communicating those standards to your stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- In close collaboration with our business stakeholders you will implement communication initiatives on how and why Nordea processes data for the benefit of the customer. Thereby ensuring we can continue to stay relevant to our customer base by personalizing content and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with our teams project manager on contact and communication to stakeholders and the overall guidelines and structures in keeping Nordea compliant around Cookies and online data usage in general
- Work with our Data Collection & Tools team to ensure our solutions are continuously developing and adjusted to new regulatory needs
- Monitoring market development, staying updated on regulation within online privacy, cookies and the digital landscape
- Coordinate with our legal department, as well as data protection office to identify the best ways of implementing new initiatives, with a balance on following regulation, honouring customer privacy and running a business
- Review monthly scans of Nordea’s websites, report and take the necessary actions to ensure we stay compliant
- As the primary responsibilities will vary in intensity, there is a big opportunity to learn new skills within Web Analytics, on anything from data collection implementation to understanding how to use data for improving customer experiences and thereby contribute to other tasks in the team

- Are a strong communicator
- Have project management skills and feel comfortable presenting to many different stakeholders
- Know what a cookie is and how online data tools work (e.g. analytics systems or tag management systems)
- Have a strong interest in data & privacy, and strong willingness to continued learning
- Are a high performing individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You strive for quality and have a structured approach to your work
- Are service minded, pro-active and persistent
Your experience and background:
- Ideally you have previous experience in working with Web Analytics data
- Perhaps you have worked as a project manager within a technical field
- A degree in Statistics, Law, Marketing, Data Science, or similar. Equivalent years of experience will be considered lieu of a degree
- We imagine that you are either a newly graduated candidate or have a couple of years’ experience
- Strong in Microsoft office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
- You are fluent in English and ideally one other Nordic language
