The positions will add our capacity in three domains:

Client Services

Client Services is on a determined journey where the ambition is to become market leader with respect to client satisfaction. Transparency and analysis are key to that ambition.

Sales

Sales is transiting into becoming increasingly focused and professional with respect to how and when to stay in contact with our clients – the goal being to develop towards a world class client experience. A key ambition is to significantly increase client facing time by mapping out the domain of sales activity.

End to end client processes

In recognition that a world class client experience is a product of the full value chain we are looking to build a data foundation for mapping and understand business processes all the way from initial client request and throughout our internal (digital and manual) operational processes. Key focus will be on funding/withdrawal, client onboarding and client renewals processes.

All of the above start with tracking, modeling and understanding how our teams engage with clients and internally – including time spend, execution speed/duration/timing. The data will be used to drive effectiveness, focus and performance. You will develop reports that add transparency and improve understanding from the different viewpoints of Clients, Management and Client Services.

The team


The job is in Global Reporting, Analytics & Insights (8 people) – one out of 5 teams within the Data Science department (26 employees in total). We are responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and analyzing commercial data and for modelling business processes. This is done in close collaboration with business stakeholders in order to support decision making, execution and business understanding. While doing so we always strive to promote a data driven methodology, a client centered mindset and a cross channel approach. The end users of our teams range from client facing to group management and we span the domains of Client Acquisition, Account Management, Client Services and Back Office services.

Among others, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain strong cooperation with business stakeholders
  • Ensure valuable insights are delivered in a way that is meaningful to the end users
  • Apply various methods to gain insights to support client engagement
  • Design, build and maintain Power BI reports
  • Build data models that portrays value creation – from client and company point of view
  • Source, qualify and enrich business data towards productionized reporting flows

Your profile


As a person you are open minded and cooperative and come across as agile and result driven. You are a good team player, but are also able to work independently and manage your stakeholders. You thrive on solving logical puzzles and conveying results in a way that makes them seem easy. You are curious and passionate about learning new skills while applying your existing aptitudes. You have a strong business acumen, and a broad knowledge in business intelligence, finance and/or data science

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • A solid educational foundation
  • Structured and strong analytical approach to your tasks
  • Passionate about adding value through transforming data into business insights
  • Experienced in fine tuning report content and layout to ensure results are easily interpreted
  • Experience in using programming techniques to work with data
  • Experience with T-SQL, Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), Power Pivot and/or: MS SQL-Server, Azure, Visual Studio is an advantage

This is done in close collaboration with Sales, IT and the Saxo Experience Office (SXO) and supports Saxo Bank in always providing a world class digital Saxo Experience in an efficient, stable and scalable way.

The COO Area includes the following departments: Business Management, Platforms, Operations, Trading & Market Access, Quant Department, Data Science as well as the Counterparty Credit Risk Management department.
