About the job

Do you thrive in an international environment where credit analysis is the center point for our work. If so Saxo Bank might be of interest to you.

The Group Credit department consists of 7 employees and its overall purpose is to monitor and handle credit risk on a group level covering credit risk related to individual clients’ activities in Saxo Bank as well as credit risk related to Saxo Bank’s own investments.

Saxo’s credit related clients are representing countries all over world which make the challenges unique relative to other Danish banks. These financial counterparts are typically banks and brokers.

We are looking for a new new Credit Analyst and you will refer to the Head of Group Credit and belong to the Group Credit team. Group Credit handles all credit exposures within the Saxo group by approving credit applications and renewing existing credit lines. Furthermore the department is instrumental in defining the Group Credit Policy and related principles and guide lines.

The Group Credit function is in a very positive phase of development and importance for the Bank. To complement this trend, the bank has chosen to hire an additional credit person for the department.

Among others you will be responsible for:

  • Handle credit applications
  • Handle client renewals
  • Handle line and rating changes
  • Handle dialogue with internal staff including client responsible Account Executives
  • Participate in customer meetings (if necessary)

Your profile

You are analytically minded and thrive analysing companies and financial institutions.

As a person you come across with an ability to act autonomously in the organization.

You hold good English talking and writing skills and not the least regard yourself as a good humoured and open minded team player.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in a credit function in a financial institution
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Preferably experience working with a discretionary credit mandate
  • Education (Candidate, Bachelor, HD alike) that supports the job

We offer

We aspire to be a non-hierarchical, purpose-driven organisation. At Saxo it is not about entitlement, it is about impact, no matter where you sit in the organisation. A good idea is always taken seriously and you can truly make a difference.

When you work here, you become part of the Saxo family. We invest in your personal development and offer you large responsibility from day one. We encourage an open feedback culture and team efforts. If you show a collaborative spirit, drive and passion, your learning curve will be steep and your (international) career opportunities with Saxo immense.

We offer good and competitive terms of employment.
