We are looking for a skilled Material Planner who can be a part of the planning process and Master Data maintenance for AGC in Copenhagen.
About the Department
You will be joining the Supply Chain Planning department consisting of four colleagues with main responsibility for the areas: material planning, master data management, SCM reporting on projects and reconciliation for invoicing. The department is part of Supply Chain Management Copenhagen, which consist of more than 40 employees. We support all AGC production and collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers through the entire supply chain. We work in an international and customer-oriented way to secure fast and reliable support to our customers.
About the position
As a Material Planner, your key objective is to ensure that we are operating the planning processes in our systems in a harmonized manner, and that the operations align with other relevant internal processes. The overall function in the daily operation is to ensure that production can move forward unhindered by providing a clear and visible direction for material supply, and ensure maintenance of the material requirements. The position must be able to communicate expectations clearly with no ambiguity in terms of delivery plans to i.e. procurement and quality release.
To succeed in this role you will take ownership of the full planning process for production projects from creating accurate bill of materials, provide timely and detailed material planning, report upfront invoicing and finally reconciliation of the finished projects.
Qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s of Science in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management or similar and have an interest of working with planning and master data in the pharmaceutical industry. Similar wok experience is valued but not a requirement.
- You will need very good communication skills and a positive mind-set in order to interact with both internal stakeholders and suppliers. You take pride in consistently delivering high quality work, on time and in a pro-active way. On top of that, you are able to prioritize your assignments in an ever-changing and dynamic environment, where you constantly estimate the consequences and risks in the decisions you make.
- You have solid IT skills – profound understanding of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft D365 or Dynamics Axapta 2012 and high knowledge level of Excel. You have a structured way of working with data and your analytical skills enable you to focus on the aspects of relevance and see through the complexity within material planning.
