YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
GANNI is on an exciting growth journey with a goal to become a digital first direct to consumer brand - on that journey the Digital Development and Data Management department by making sure that our technical landscape is future proof to meet our ambitions. This is a new role within the team therefore we are looking for an impact maker that is able to set a structure and direction.

The Master Data Governance Manager will be part of our Data Management team and have a strong focus on governance, processes and structure. We believe you can analyse and understand AS-IS structure of data as well as to propose and implement a TO-BE. You should be able to implement governance processes and engage across departments as Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing. You will become a trusted advisor for all things related to Master data management and advice on all master data management matters and questions that may arise.

We believe that you will play a key-role in our strategic initiatives and ongoing projects where you will be responsible for creating our Master Data Governance strategy, model and framework across our critical systems such as PIM, PLM CRM and ERP. Responsibilities ahead of you

  • Develop the Master Data Governance strategy, model and framework and ensure implementation
  • Collaborate closely with the business on master data needs, challenges and improvements
  • Define data quality measurements together with the business and establish the needed tools to analyse and monitor the current state of master data quality
  • Facilitate maintenance and improvement of master data quality in the business
  • Advise and educate Data Owners and Data Stewards on governance issues and methods
  • Mediate on data governance issues i.e. principle/concept alignment, source of master data
  • Ensure that agreed data governance processes and policies are followed across business functions
  • Map master data to business processes
  • Ensure master data requirements are documented, analysed, designed and implemented according to the Master Data Governance Model.
  • Ensure that the Master Data Portal (SharePoint site) is up to date with the newest documentation on master data

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with Data analysis, Data Governance and/or Data Quality control.
  • Have experience of working with large data sets and assigning a structure to them.
  • Have a technical as well as quality mindset and experience
  • Have an analytical mindset, enabling you to connect the dots between users, data and business processes
  • Have experience with working with mapping processes with optimization as a focus.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business-leaders.
  • Have experience of working with several external development vendors and vendor management.
  • Have experience with documentation, processes, and rules.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic business environment where operations and business requirements might change fast.
  • Have knowledge of how to apply data privacy and GDPR standards to master data is an advantage
  • Have experience with Microsoft Navision/Trimit, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, NewStore, InRiver and SharePoint is an advantage.
  • Have experience with at least one MDM platform is an advantage
