Saxo Bank and Group Treasury is looking for a new colleague to join the team in supporting the company’s ambitious growth journey.
Group Treasury is responsible for managing the Group’s assets and liabilities, the short- and long-term liquidity, capital structures and debt issuances, funding and internal pricing models as well as the global correspondent banking network.
The team is located in the Group’s head office in Hellerup, Denmark and currently consists of five dedicated colleagues. We are continuously collaborating with other areas like Sales, Trading, Middle Office, Operations, Risk Management, Finance and Technology to achieve common group objectives, and optimise revenues, cost and capital utilisation within the Group.
We are looking for a new colleague to join the team in leading and managing the daily treasury operations within Liquidity - and Collateral Management and assist in the continued development of the supporting processes and infrastructure.
As Group Treasury operates within a wide range of requirements and constraints like risk exposure limits, counterparty credit lines, regulatory requirements and capital ratios it is important to understand the dynamics and interdependencies of a financial institution. Furthermore, as we are constantly looking to improve our Treasury setup, it is important to have natural flair for seeking ways to optimise and challenge the status quo.
Your area of responsibility will contain, but not be limited to:
- Management of the groups daily liquidity and collateral management processes
- Managing relations and intraday tasks with internal departments on treasury matters
- Support internal and external stakeholders, across products and development initiatives
- Provide support in the counterpart management, credit assessment and ongoing due diligence
- Maintenance and development of Asset and Liability Management and P/L reporting
- Participate in the overall treasury transformational development journey
Your profile:
We are looking for a candidate with experience from a treasury or other relevant corporate finance function, preferably from a financial institution. The ideal candidate has knowledge and understanding of managing the balance sheet of a Bank or a financial services firm and has hands on experience with leveraging technology to optimise all parameters of an efficient and scalable treasury function, understanding the key drivers, constraints and limitations determined by stakeholders, shareholders and regulators.
Furthermore, you are expected to:
- Hold a relevant master’s degree within economy, finance, engineering or similar
- Have a track record with relevant experience
- Have an understanding of how banking, financial markets and a treasury function works
- A passion for optimizing processes and a drive to find intelligent and scalable solutions
- A good understanding of how to leverage technology in finding future-proof business solutions
- Be a team player and have good cross-functional collaborative skills
- Enjoy working within an international fast-paced environment

Group Finance is responsible for the following corporate functions in the value chain within the bank: Finance, Legal, Procurement and Treasury.
At Saxo IT and the business are integrated into the same teams, ensuring end-to-end ownership. We are organized based on what we want to do for our clients rather than on subject matter expertise. Within Finance you will work together with people from different disciplines.
Some of the key responsibilities for the division include:
• Controlling cost and generating higher and more stable revenue, leading to an improved EBIT margin
• Managing capital cost and regulation efficiently to generate an improved return on Equity
• Supporting mergers and Acquisitions for the Group
• Supervising and overseeing the review, negotiation and drafting of major contracts, tender documents and other legal documents, as required by the operational departments
• Organizing and managing liquidity globally
