SUMMARY:
AGC Bio is seeking an experienced Training Manager with Articulate 360/Storyline experience to work as a key part of the Change Management team implementing a large-scale, complex, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, Dynamics 365) change initiative. The Training Manager will work directly for the Sr. Manager, OCM (Organizational Change Management) and interact with ERP implementation project team, SMEs (subject matter experts) to create high-quality learning experiences for end users.
KEY RESPONSIBILIES:
- Primary responsibilities include assessing training needs prior to and after go-live at each of our seven global sites. Both managing others and performing updates and localization of training – e-learning courses, manuals, simulations, user guides, test scripts, job aids, videos, FAQ documents, webinars, and other web-based tools in a virtual environment.
- Project manages updates to all ERP training content in Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise and manage the uploads to a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver effective role-based training which helps enable staff and all other end users to excel in their roles in the future state of the globally harmonized business processes and new ERP system (Dynamics 365).
- This individual will be required to drive use of the ADDIE instructional design framework to design effective learning solutions, which are learner-centered, organized, accurate, relevant, and engaging.
- Working with subject matter experts, the OCM Team, Project Team, and business and technical leads, this role will leverage a variety of learning development tools to update existing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, Microsoft Dynamics 365), and process related training, and deliver training that utilizes a blended learning approach including Web-based and e-learning.
- Direct the design, development, and delivery of a variety of training materials as needed, including VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training), e-learning, videos, user guides, instructor guides, job aids, and Quick Reference Guides.
- Direct and/or perform QC (Quality Control) checks on incoming courses from vendors, assuring setup within standards and testing for correct operation in LMS.
- Integration of all courses on LMS working closely with LMS admin assuring courses load, run and report properly. Update courses as needed and troubleshoot any technical issues related to courses.
- Direct and/or perform maintenance updates for all courses due to product changes, regulatory changes, or expirations of approvals.
- Work with cross-functional teams and time zones to manage the translation and localization process for training materials into multiple languages (German, Italian, and Japanese).
- Coach SME instructors (Power Users) during end-user training and provide support to the power user network and trainers beyond the go-live date at each site.
- Collaborate with ERP project managers and technical team members to ensure training activities and milestones are included within the overall project plan.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Articulate Storyline, RISE, Light coding html/JavaScript, Excel, Adobe Premiere editing, Adobe After Effects
- Disciplines: Artist/Designer, Writer, Project Manager, and Programmer
- Ability to quickly learn new software packages and be able to design training on them.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally, in writing, and in online environments: ability to manage projects, lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts in plain language, including appropriate corporate jargon where applicable.
- Demonstrated experience designing, delivering, and evaluating software training for non-native English speakers with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience with adult learning, instructional design and best practices in online learning to inform problem solving, strategic and programming decisions including maintenance and improvement of assigned curricula.
- Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and experience with blended learning.
- Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience developing curricula and related assessment and evaluation plans.
- English fluency required.
- Demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and integrity.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, business, technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of software training experience required.
- 5+ years of Learning Management System (LMS) experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering system web-based training, content capture and development, and training curriculum development.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- 3+ years of experience with Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise 360.
- Preferred experience with MS Project, Azure DevOps, Camtasia, Adobe After Effects, and Power BI.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation training, or other ERP adoption and training experience
- Preferred previous teaching/training experience.
