Consultant in Finance Processes & Projects
Demant is looking for a Consultant in Finance Processes & Projects. with an interest in finance processes, Finance IT applications, process transformation, and project management to help ensure best in class global finance processes and solutions across applications, business areas/needs and countries/geographies.
The Team
Finance Processes and Projects is part of the Demant global finance organisation and covers employees in both Denmark and Poland. The department consists of a diverse group of postive, highly motivated and professional colleagues who helps and support each other. It is an including social environment, where your future development is of high importance.
The primary objective of the Finance process and projects department is to establish and enforce quality, efficiency, and transparency in the finance processes within the Demant Group. Our projects are wide-ranging and right now includes implementation of financial tools, a new global financial compliance framework and purchase order functionality while continuing our roll out of standardised ERP, T&E and invoice processing systems.
Summing up implementation and utilization of financial tools and solutions that drives value creation within Demant. To strengthen this effort, we are looking for an employee to work closely with our local entities to support them in being part of this journey and developing best in class local finance functions
The Position
As a consultant in FP&P, you will work across finance, different business areas and stakeholders in the local markets together with a pool of highly skilled and talented people in an international environment. You will get exposure towards senior management and finance teams across geographies and stakeholder management is therefore a large part of daily work with the goal to deliver on both short- and long-term assignments simultaneously.
Joining us your primary focus will be to:
- Supporting design and execution of the implementation process, including gathering business requirements, process documentation and solution design
- Ensure solid stakeholder management and sign off processes before implementing changes and teams are trained and adjusted to the new process
- Support the local business with smaller optimization projects within finance processes in our global finance applications
- Ownership of implemented processes - act as expert on various parts of Finance processes
- The ideal candidate understands the complexity between financial compliance and business needs and works proactively and independently to find the right solution.
Who are we looking for?
- Degree in finance or accounting
- Some experience in a finance function
- Understanding and interest in finance processes
- Take an interest in technology enablement
- You are a team player who are used to and enjoy working independently with ability to engage with and influence, guide, and challenge multiple stakeholders.
- Experienced user of MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Advanced in written and spoken English

- Due to the projects running in different countries, and the international character of the team, some travelling should be expected
