Our new ESG Reporting Manager will be part of implementing ESG reporting, processes and ensuring assurance of performance data as part of Saxo Bank’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) reporting framework.
In this role, your focus will be on tracking, gathering, and reporting ESG data to comply with the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU Taxonomy and other applicable reporting requirements. You will join the Financial Controlling team in Saxo.

As our new ESG Reporting Manager, you will work closely with our Regulation and Compliance teams to ensure Saxo adheres to all reporting requirements from upcoming regulation such as EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), etc.
The overall responsibility of the ESG Reporting Manager will be to:
- Participate in defining roadmap for our ESG reporting to ensure compliance with CSRD and EU Taxonomy, as well as other reporting regulation
- Drive continuous process improvements to streamline ESG data collection, management and reporting
- Work closely with relevant teams within Saxo Bank’s group functions including Regulation, Compliance, and Risk.
- Support the implementation of a compliant ESG reporting framework, including robust and auditable standards to enable credible external ESG reporting
- Taking ownership and ensuring the sustainability data and ESG context reporting within the Annual Report in collaboration with Saxo’s ESG Lead for reporting team
- Assisting with the external audit regarding sustainability topics
- Ensure detailed quality control of the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of ESG data according to defined reporting regulation (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy, etc).
- Managing ESG data collection and improving ESG data quality across the Saxo Bank Group, with a special focus on emissions accounting together with a business analyst
Qualifications:
- Educational background in accounting, finance, business administration, ESG or similar at Masters level
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience or experience in IFRS and integrated reporting
- Practical experience with ESG reporting, ESG assurance or auditing
- Strong understanding of reporting requirements and sustainability issues
- Good knowledge of sustainability related regulatory requirements a plus
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to be hands-on and focus on the details without losing sight of the bigger picture

• Supervising and overseeing the review, negotiation and drafting of major contracts, tender documents and other legal documents, as required by the operational departments
• Organizing and managing liquidity globally
