If you have experience within technology partnerships or alliances and knowledge in the areas of Cloud, AI, storage or high-performance computing, you have exactly the right foundation for this job.
Throughout the last 20 years we have established Milestone as a leading, global provider of video management software. To maintain and expand our position we need to take our current partnership engagement to the next level in form of joined technology partnerships. You are the one to turn this ambition into reality – in a role with opportunity for making an extraordinary impact in collaboration with various leadership teams and attention from top management.
You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Technology Partnerships to manage and develop our relationships with top technology partners. Your role is crucial in driving the execution of partnership strategy and initiatives and ensuring our partner relationships thrive, develop and expand. You will also act as a trusted advisor to key decision makers by advising on optimum technology adoption strategies.

As mentioned we already have existing engagement with our targeted companies. Our next level ambition is to utilize & leverage their infrastructure to accelerate both in-house innovation opportunities, stay ahead of next generational computing trends and build our existing and future video surveillance and “beyond security” products the coming years”.
To ensure our future we need a refined and optimized strategy encompassing clear objectives, aligned at the CTO and leadership of the company. This must be followed by a roadmap and a razor-sharp value proposition – naturally supplemented by the creation of excellent personal relations with key stakeholders. To see this through, will be your overall focus.
What you will do:
  • Manage and optimize 3-5 strategic technology enablement partnerships ensuring alignment with company technology ambitions and goals
  • Act as the voice of the partner and internal advocate by providing insights, feedback and opportunities from the partner to internal teams
  • Develop and execute an alliance partnership strategy and additional strategies for each partner
  • Collaborate and orchestrate with cross-functional internal teams to drive partner success and optimize partnership performance
  • Create and maintain a vision with business and technology solution scenarios and services as well as a clear partnership roadmap, and success metrics
  • Set performance KPI’s including growth attachment metrics and recommend tactics to achieve the goals
  • Formulate and guide differentiated and new value propositions in conjunction with various leadership teams in the company (product groups, research & various development teams)
  • Communicate the value proposition as a key technology enablement differentiator and growth tool
  • Conduct regular partner performance analysis, and identify areas for further investment or improvement.

    To succeed, you must be able to navigate safely in a complex, international organisation with multiple parallel projects and goals. Ideally, you will be based at the Milestone HQ in Copenhagen, where you will be close to many of your key internal collaborators. However, for the right profile, other options are possible, as a hybrid workplace and flexibility are natural parts of life at Milestone. You will typically travel 2-3 days on average per month throughout the year to meet partners, visit trade shows and conferences as well as colleagues.

Additionally, you have the tenacity to come through, also when facing setbacks. On top of this, you can communicate equally well with engineers and business profiles at CxO level.   • Probably a university degree in business or technology
  • Experience with cloud computing, AI, storage, technology partnerships and/or alliances
  • Commercial experience and a commercial mindset
  • Experience from formulating strategy with additional KPIs etc.
  • Experience with direct customer dialogue, hopefully from working with partnerships or the like
