The Leadership Development Specialist will work with establishing and driving Milestone’s leadership development journeys, to equip current and future leaders with the knowledge, skills and behaviors to drive our business, develop high performing and agile teams, and set the desired cultural standard by role modelling our values and core leadership behaviors. You will be working in the Talent Development Team reporting to the Head of Talent Development and will work in close partnership with HR Business Partners, Global Business Leaders and our external training partners.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of Milestone’s leadership development journeys, which will require you to

  • Understand Milestone’s leadership philosophy and desired behaviors, and ensure they are embedded in all our leadership development practices and programs


  • Ensure Milestone cultivates a pipeline of competent leaders, by establishing new behaviour tools for measuring and assessing talent throughout the employee life-cycle (from selection to promotion), and aligning this to individual development plans


  • Analyze developmental needs and knowledge gaps, and ensure we have relevant development tracks in place for current and aspiring leaders. These should include offerings with blended learning styles, from mentoring and coaching to classroom training and self-learning.


  • Measure the ongoing effectiveness of interventions and lead continuous improvements in partnership with external training partners and thought/industry leaders, to ensure Milestone stays updated on innovative leadership development practices


  • Lead the development and facilitation of leadership bootcamps for new managers, and other in-house trainings as required

What do you need to have to apply?

  • Leadership development experience, including designing and implementing leadership development journeys for current and aspiring leaders.


  • Experience in using leadership assessment tools (e.g. Hogan) for assessing leadership potential, identifying promotion readiness and setting relevant development programs for leaders


  • Skilled in coaching and continuous learning, with the ability and enthusiasm to adapt to new information, technologies, and industry trends


  • Experience leading projects and managing external and internal stakeholders across the organization


  • Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing data driven people insights.
