We do this by providing innovative scanners and advanced software for the global community of dental professionals.A great example is our workflow that makes it possible to scan a patient and make a digital impression of the mouth, design a new tooth using AI, and finally 3D-print or mill it and place it in the mouth of the patient – all within an hour. The technology operating behind the scenes is complex. Yet, for the end-user, the tools and workflows must be simple and easy to learn and use, to ensure efficient daily work and accurate treatments. And that's where [xxxxx] stands out from the competition: we turn advanced technology into simple products that customers love and use.For our advanced dental software platform “Unite”, we are looking for a an experienced UX designer who will also take up a Team Lead role for a group of five UX designers.You will be reporting to the Head of User Experience residing in the Product department, and your day-to-day work will be inside the organizational stream responsible for the dental clinic software platform and its related mobile app, delivered by several agile delivery teams. As a part of the cross-organizational Product UX team, you will also help ensure alignment of UX across our products and services, improve UX operations, and increase UX awareness in [xxxxx].Your UX responsibilities will include:
  • Creating engaging and aesthetic designs for products driven by best practices and in-depth user research and testing.
  • Working closely with product managers, software architects, and development teams to ensure delivery of products of high design quality.
  • Take broad conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and meaningful products, by designing flows and user experiences that translate complex needs into simple, usable interfaces.
  • Work through all phases of design and development – all the way from conceptualization to supporting developers during delivery and tracking the adoption and success, post-launch. Giving and seeking feedback from designers and other roles to ensure a good desirable-viable-feasible balance and to continually improve the solution.
    • As a Team Lead, we expect that you:
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to the team, as well as facilitate their professional growth and development through sparring, while promoting a positive, safe, and collaborative environment.
  • Are eager to explore how to optimize team performance and efficiency within an agile context, in collaboration with other functions and agile coaches.
  • Resolve conflicts and escalate issues when necessary to complete project deliverables.
  • Contribute to setting the strategic direction for the platform in collaboration with the product management lead and the technical lead.
    • Who are you?
  • You have at least three years of experience with product design and can understand and interpret business needs and concept requirements into visual outputs creating great products and experiences.
  • You have experience building and shipping products that are broad and ambiguous in scope and encompass end-to-end experiences across a variety of surfaces.
  • You thrive in complexity and seek to create structure wherever possible.
  • You are motivated and pragmatic with good communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.
  • You have experience working as a team leader, and you believe that empowering team members is the best way to lead, but can also dive deep and take decisions when needed.
  • You fit in well in an open and feedback-driven culture.

    • It would be a great advantage, if you have any of the following:
  • Experience with complex productivity applications or medical/dental software.
  • Experience designing based on a Design System, /taking direction from or expanding on existing guidelines.
