Randstad is currently looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager on behalf of ECS MEP CONTRACTOR I/S. Reporting to the Project Manager; the QA/QC Manager will lead the Quality process of the projects that ECS is involved ensuring that the MEP installations and tests are fully complying with the project specifications and the related Quality records/evidence are produced and well maintained. Moreover, the QA/QC Manager will lead the Hand-Over process of the projects in terms of the documentation that needs to be submitted to the client through the agreed CDE.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality management of Building or infrastructure projects; preferable in MEP sector.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015. Internal or Lead Auditor Certification is an advantage.
• You have a technical background preferable a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• You must be able to coordinate, establish, implement and maintain the QA documentation (Quality Plans and procedures, MSS, Method Statements, T&C Documents) and O&M documentation (manuals, training plans and spare parts lists).
• To manage the client’s attendance at the agreed inspection points in accordance with the project handover program.
• You are energetic and motivated by the everyday busy life. Where the tasks vary and must be solved in collaboration with our project manager and technical project managers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Be able to read and understand MEP drawings and diagrams.
• Knowledge of Software platforms such as BIM360, Dalux Field and Dalux HO.
• Good English proficiency is required. Italian language is an advantage.
Your main tasks will be to ensure that the quality activities are handled professionally via:
• Performing site inspections to ensure that the MEP installations are in accordance with the project requirements and submitted Method Statements.
• Ensuring that our sub-contractors and suppliers deliver to the requested quality.
• Having the authority to intervene at any stage in the project, in case of non-conformance in proceedings and project results or any jeopardization of the project results including escalation as and when required.
• Assisting the T&C Team to prepare and gather the testing reports in a proper way and on time.
• Leading the closure of any supervision note or NCR coming from the client.
• Leading the Project Hand Over process towards the client in terms of documentation that is required.
• Becoming a catalyst for continuous improvement for all project phases, communicating lessons learned and process improvement.
• Becoming a valued member of the core project team and report directly to the Project Manager.
• Have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks.
• Respect commitments and efforts towards On Time Delivery, and Conformity on Delivery.
• Ambitious and accountable.
• Team player.
• Assertive and does not give up when confronted to resistance.
• Builds and maintains relationships based on transparency, trust and respect.

Qualifications
