About the department
You will be a part of the Environment Health & Safety department at NNPR with 11 highly engaged, experienced, and qualified professionals, technicians, and a student assistant who work diligently to support the entire value chain, from Research & Development to Production and Sales & Marketing.

The position
In this job you will be responsible for:
- Strategic key deliveries – where you set directions and deliver results that significantly impact the business area. You will:
- provide advice, guidance, and support management with decisions – setting a clear direction for NNPR management
- assist in initiatives, ideas, projects, and improvements to support Health and Safety strategies
- comprehend the strategic health and safety management level, including prioritization and control of significant impacts
- plan and report on the Management Review on Health and Safety aspects
- develop a draft of objectives and targets for health and safety.
- Tactical implementation support. You will:
- influence the ability and opportunity for NNPR to reach the long-term goals on health and safety
- communicate progress and status via EHS report including critical analysis and report with relevant frequency.
- Operational excellence. You will:
- identify better practices and create improvements in methods, techniques, approaches, etc. together with HS Supporters, HS representatives, mgmt. representatives and stakeholders across NNPR
- support relevant knowledge sharing and best practices across NNPR, as well as improvements of high innovation and complex projects
- act as HS subject matter expert for projects within New Product Entry, Product Steering Group, Investment Portfolio Group, and Facility Management.
- Business Partnering. You will:
- drive governance and HS network
- coordinate the HS initiatives, incl. driving well-being initiatives in collaboration with HR
- be responsible for continuous communication across NNPR with focus on feedback, training, performance, deliveries, and coaching.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant academic degree (at least a bachelor)
- Fluency in oral and written Danish & English
- 5+ years’ experience with Health & Safety work, ideally from pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory environment.
- Strong foundation in the occupational work environment area, as well as experience with legislative requirements, ISO 45001 standard, and audits/inspections.
- Ability to negotiate the right HS solutions while balancing HS response with other business needs.
