Then here is a great opportunity to become part of Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S (NNPR) internal Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) department, where we set the direction for, maintain, and develop the areas of EHS. The position As a Health & Safety Partner you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Strategic key deliveries: You set directions for preventing major accidents and deliver results that significantly impact the business area
  • Tactical implementation support: You influence the ability and need for NNPR to reach the long-term goals for EHS by critical analyse data and communicate progress and status via various meetings, reports, etc.
  • Operational excellence: You identify better practices and create improvements in methods, techniques, approaches, etc. together with EHS’ colleagues, utility, equipment and process professionals, operators, workshop supporters and management at different levels. Furthermore, you act as Risk subject matter expert for many types of projects within New Product Entry, Product Steering Group, Investment Portfolio Group, and Facility Management.
  • A specific responsibility is managing the Safety Report to and collaborate with appointed persons from Police, Fire, “Arbejdstilsynet” and “Miljøstyrelsen” (our risk authorities).
  • You will be included in Novo Nordisk network working with preventing major accidents. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
  • A relevant academic degree (at least a bachelor)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with prevention of major accident hazards or working with risk assessments tools), ideally also with Functional Safety
  • High level of experience with Danish legislative requirements, “Risikobekendsgørelsen”, and audits/inspections.
  • Ability to negotiate the right solutions balancing requirements from risk authorities and business needs.

About the department You will be a part of the Environment Health & Safety department at NNPR with 14 highly engaged, experienced, and qualified professionals, supporters and a student assistant who work diligently to support the entire value chain, from Research & Development to Production and Sales & Marketing. NNPR is a 100% owned subsidiary of Novo Nordisk located in Køge. We are more than 300 people covering the entire value chain from R&D and Business Development to Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales.
