Then you are a good candidate for our new position as Equipment & Utilities Manager at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in Køge!The PositionAs an Equipment & Utilities Manager, you will be responsible for the technical support for our production equipment and utilities.The main tasks will be:Ensuring that the equipment is optimized to deliver high-quality products to our customers, without downtime and production stoppages. Encouraging the team to solve equipment problems to the root cause, making sure to implement continuous improvements on stability and capacity. Together with the team, you will provide input and set requirements of the equipment in new projects, ensuring that we have the necessary capacity for the future. Being responsible for the continuous development of your employees, ensuring well-being and performance, and supporting the team to collaborate well with all stakeholders. We are busy, so it is important that you can prioritize the team's tasks both in the short and long term.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you have:Ideally, Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical or Marine Engineering, or some Technical background with a good understanding of process equipment and the importance of good and efficient support. At least 3 years of management experience in GMP production. Experience with LEAN, using associated principles and tools to improve processes and equipment. Professional proficiency in English and Danish (both writing and speaking). You can maintain calm and overview in stressful situations and treat your employees and stakeholders with respect, while communicate effectively to the entire organization.
About the departmentEquipment & Utilities is part of Technical Support, which is responsible for production equipment, utilities, maintenance, spare parts, calibration and facility management at our production site in Køge.
The department consists of approx. 35 employees divided into 4 teams:Equipment & Utilities with 11 engineers, marine engineers, and technicians. Metrology & Maintenance, which is the back office with support, planning and procurement. Calibration & Maintenance, which is our workshop with a bunch of skilled craftsmen. Facility Service, incl. our reception that makes sure that everything plays on the site. We are establishing a new facility to meet the increased demand from Novo Nordisk A/S. Soon we will build the local organization for the new site including a new team under the current Technical Support department. There will be exciting opportunities to work with a brand-new factory, including new equipment and utilities going forward.
