The position
In this job you will be responsible for: Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction, guidance, and impactful results within the business area. Offer advice to management, setting clear direction for Health and Safety strategies. Assist in developing initiatives, ideas, and projects that support Health and Safety strategies. Understand and manage the strategic level of Health and Safety management, including prioritization and control of significant impacts. Prepare and report on the Management Review on Health and Safety aspects. Develop draft objectives and targets for Health and Safety. Tactical Support: Influence the ability and opportunity for NNPR to achieve long-term goals on health and safety. Communicate progress and status through Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) reports, providing critical analysis and relevant reporting frequency. Operational Excellence: Identify and implement best practices, improving methods, techniques, and approaches related to Health & Safety and ISO 45001. Manage, maintain, and optimize the ISO certification system and processes. Support knowledge sharing and best practices across NNPR, particularly concerning innovation and complex projects. Business Partnership: Drive governance and the Health and Safety network to coordinate Health and Safety initiatives, including well-being initiatives in collaboration with HR (P&O). Continuously communicate across NNPR with a focus on feedback, training, performance, deliveries, and coaching.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we envision that you possess:
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Health and Safety, ideally within pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory settings.
• Educational Background: A relevant master's degree, providing a solid academic foundation in Health and Safety.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both oral and written Danish and English.
• Specialized Focus: Experience with chemical and hazardous materials safety.
• Regulatory Knowledge: A strong foundation in occupational work environment practices, including experience with legislative requirements, ISO 45001 standards, and HS audits/inspections.
• Balanced Approach: The ability to negotiate appropriate Health and Safety solutions while effectively balancing these responses with other business needs.
As an individual, you exhibit a high personal drive and a positive attitude, enabling you to focus on key areas and achieve results. Your adeptness in communication and training allows you to simplify complex subjects for effective understanding. With a qualitative and analytical mindset, you approach tasks proactively and systematically. You will join the Sustainability Partnering department at NNPR, collaborating with two teams: the Environment team and the Health & Safety team, alongside professional managers within the project portfolio and Sustainability. Focusing specifically on the Health & Safety team, we are a dedicated group of 8 employees who work diligently to support NNPR. We place a strong emphasis on fostering a 'diversity and inclusive' mindset, while also prioritizing a fun and inquisitive working environment.
