Apply now for a life-changing career! The position You will be leading a combined team of 11 Project Managers and CMO supporters with different level of seniority. Our Manufacturing Development department is unique as it covers all development, Product Project Management, and collaboration with CMO’s. Our Project Managers are responsible for 1-2 products or cover a portfolio of different projects. The PM/CM team (Project Management and Contract Manufacturing) is responsible for the portfolio of new products as well as Life Cycle Management and optimization of existing products. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Setting the direction for the team ensuring that priorities and strategies are executed so the team can keep the overview and always prioritise the right deliverables.
  • Be part of setting the strategy and the direction for the team, together with the rest of the management group.
  • Be responsible for the development of the employees and team, to ensure we can improve the way we work.
  • The position has a high stakeholder collaboration across the organisation, and you can expect to work closely with Research, Production, QC, QA, Supply Chain and CMOs and improve the way we work both internally and cross functionally. Qualifications You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
  • A solid leadership experience from a pharmaceutical company within Project Management, manufacturing development / manufacturing science and technology (MSAT) or CMC.
  • Experience of leading employees of different levels of seniority.
  • Experience in navigating a complex and cross functional stakeholder landscape.
  • Professional proficiency in English and a relevant academic degree related to Life Science, such as Engineering, (Bio)Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar.
  • With your strategic mindset, you work independently to drive decisions and processes forward and thrive in a high-paced and dynamic workday, prioritising, and inspiring others. You have the ability for seeing the bigger picture and you are able to keep the eye on the ball in collaboration with stakeholders. You take great pride in developing your team and you do so by coaching, working with the culture and implementing a best practice toolbox. About the department The Manufacturing Development department in R&D Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S consists of 35 dedicated employees split into three teams. You will become Manager of the PM/CM team consisting of 11 Full-time employees. We are a part of R&D that in total consists of 55 employees. We work in close collaboration with our customers to develop optimal purification solutions for new and existing molecules used for the treatment of many different conditions as well as process enzymes crucial for bioprocessing of established and upcoming therapeutic modalities.
