Your new role
This individual will be joining a strong, interdisciplinary team, where engagement and performance levels are high. You will become an important part of Signodes Global Innovation, Research and Development team.
The Global IR&D team at Signode is defined by their eye for quality, high performance, their enthusiasm for new technology and for their competitive designs.

What you’ll need to succeed
For this position, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Automation engineering and 3-5 years of experience from a similar position with automation projects is required.
Moreover, it is expected that the candidate has experience with Siemens PLC and A-B as well as high level programming C/C++ and/or knowledge of CoDeSys and Ladder is required.
Knowledge of IOT, Cloud and Edge computing.
As a person you are highly driven, solution orientated and you have an analytical mindset.
You are proficient in English, both writing and in speaking, which is reflected in your skills to communicate well with others.

Your new role
This individual will be joining a strong, interdisciplinary team, where engagement and performance levels are high. You will become an important part of Signodes Global Innovation, Research and Development team.

Specific work tasks will among others consist of:
- Programming and coding (PLC & HMI) Siemens + A-B, Inverter parameters, safety circuits
- Implementation of newly developed projects in accordance with the Signode development process
- Collecting market data’s in cooperation with Product management and the sales units and distribution partners
- Execute and responsible for functional- und prototype test; also, in cooperation with other departments, compile and prepare the results piloting start-ups, service support, troubleshooting, training
- Conduct and lead project meetings, prepare the meeting documents and write protocols
- Lead the projects by example, conviction and assertiveness and with sensitivity
