The Copenhagen Center for Health Technology (CACHET) is looking for skilled software engineers and study managers (up to 5) to work at the center at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). As a software engineer, you should have a strong educational background at a bachelor's level in computer science, software engineering, or similar. As a study manager, you should have a strong educational background at a bachelor's level in biomedical engineering, health informatics, project management, and/or design and innovation processes. Prior work experience is not a requirement.
The job
As a software engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, documentation, and quality assurance of the software we develop in CACHET. Most of our research pivots around the Copenhagen Research Platform (CARP).
As a study manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and coordination of one or more of the studies using CARP. You will be responsible for coordinating with our clinical partners (e.g., in hospitals), assisting in patient recruitment, creating and maintaining the technical configuration of the study in CARP, and ensuring overall project management of the study.

You are expected to work closely with the researchers in the center, including technical researchers at DTU and clinical researchers at the University of Copenhagen, and the different hospitals in the Capital Region (Region Hovedstaden - RH) and Region Zealand (Region Sjælland - RSJ). You will also work directly with patients and relatives while designing or deploying the technology. Hence, some travel within the RH and RSJ regions is to be expected.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
The job is part-time, 15 hours per week. You will get a contract for 15 hours a week, but the workload can be averaged over several weeks. You can have this job while studying for an MSc degree at DTU or another university in Copenhagen. There is a possibility for full-time employment.
The position is time limited and will end at the latest on April 30th, 2026.
Your primary workplace will be in the CACHET lab at the DTU Campus in Lyngby and in hospital clinics in RH and RSJ.
