Manufacturing and Global Procurement Blades BLEC HSE
Vestas is the wind industry’s world leader in sustainable energy solutions. From designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing wind turbines, we are also proud to say we have installed more wind turbines worldwide than anyone else.
The Blades Organisation is within Vestas manufacturing, to which BLEC (Blades Launch and Execution centre) is a function beneath this. Here we are a small team of 4 working closely with each other. We are responsible for delivering our production design, development of process and tooling for the blades.

Manufacturing and Global Procurement Blades BLEC HSE

We are responsible for delivering our production design, development of process and tooling for the blades.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will consist of:
- Chemical case handling
- Dealing with Environmental permits
- Completing OHS measurements and assessments
- IMS (Incident Management System) assistance and System support
- Safety meetings and case handling workplace injuries
- Performing risk assessments (chemistry, machines, etc)
- Monthly /quarterly reporting
Qualifications
Qualifications required for this position:
- Educated chemical engineer (Chemical Engineer with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience within HSE)
- It is essential to be able to speak and write native Danish.
- Being fluent in English, speaking and writing are also essential.
- Environmental experience is advantageous
Competencies
Soft skills that would be suited:
- Good knowledge of how industrial production works and knowledge of wind energy. Experience within the Wind energy field is desirable.
- Having an innovative approach to work and life. Volunteering in events/ organisations for example.
- Open-minded and adaptable. Willing to come into a busy environment that can change frequently.
- MS office (Having experience on this is not necessary as full training will be provided)
- Analytical and systematic
- Be able to communicate with all levels of the organisation
