How to contribute
We are searching for a skilled and motivated Network Automation Specialist to join our IT Operations team, which is a vital part of our IT organization and consists of dedicated and talented professionals. The team is responsible for all IT infrastructure within Terma, both from an operational level - evolution of existing infrastructure, to design and development of new infrastructure in coordination with stakeholders. This involves multiple datacenters, large scale networks for both IT and OT, Software Defined Access, unique security challenges within the defense industry and much more.

Some of your primary focus areas will be:
- Automation of IT infrastructure stack with focus on network and security
- Architecture and design of automation setup
- Help drive transformation and new ways of working
- Resolve potential network and security incidents
- Assist on development and implementation of new network and security solutions
- Ensure the infrastructure is operating smoothly and minimize down time.
How to make a difference
Passion for technology, identifying and driving the correct solutions.
The ideal candidate has an academic degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent with knowledge and experience in following areas:
- Experience working with automation and CI/CD
- Technical competences in Ansible or Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Professional experience maintaining real-world production systems. Build and maintain complex network designs
- Experience on NextGen firewalls (Checkpoint), Unidirectional gateways, design of security zones, IDS/IPS
- Experience with Cisco switches, routers, ISE (LDAP, REST APIs), IPSec VPN, DMVPN and device authentication (IEEE 802.1x)
- Great understanding of IT security
- Knowledge about SDA and Cisco DNA Center
- Good programming knowledge of Python
- Knowledge about Information Security and Risk Management
- Basic knowledge of standard infrastructure components e.g., AD, VMware, Microsoft, backup.
