Currently, we are looking for an ERP Specialist to our Business Applications department in IT, to enhance our IFS-based ERP platform and build an even stronger foundation for the future of Terma.
Job Overview
The ERP Specialist proactively develops Terma’s ERP foundation – based on the IFS suite. This includes establishing ERP needs through ongoing business engagement and analysis.
The ERP Specialist provides the necessary technical subject-matter expertise, analysis and business understanding to both help define solutions, direct projects and ensure implementation.
You will not be doing IT development/programming – our colleagues in the Development department will support you in that. Our department; Business Applications, bridge the business side and Development department.
Your main role and responsibilities
As our ERP Specialist, you need to demonstrate competencies across two key dimensions:
Interpret Business Needs
Example deliverables: requirements document, project documentation, solution designs.

Bear in mind that candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish national security agency. This entails that candidate, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad and have citizenship from a country that is member of NATO

Your main role and responsibilities
As our ERP Specialist, you need to demonstrate competencies across two key dimensions:
Interpret Business Needs
- Translates business and technical requirements into solutions and document your work
- Work as a business partner to proactive identity business needs
- Works closely with the business and IT stakeholders to ensure robust and architecturally sound solutions that can support both short-term and long-term goals of our business
Example deliverables: requirements document, project documentation, solution designs.
Assess Technology
- Understanding the latest ERP trends
- Analyzing existing infrastructure and performing IT system enhancements.
- Document ERP processes and solutions
- Analyze our ERP environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement
- Understand ERP and development standards and best-practice
- Consults with our other departments, IT Operations and IT Development, to align development of ERP integrations, architecture, and infrastructure capacity.
Credentials and Experience
- Degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, IT/business or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with ERP systems either directly as an ERP specialist, solution architect or a related position (IFS experience is a plus, but not a must)
- Experience working with a production company is a plus.
Skills
- Business and process understanding – e.g. HR, Finance, Sales, supply chain, service, production
- Understanding of project management
- Experience with ERP integration e.g. REST, ERP security e.g. authentication, document access, segregation of duties etc., ERP configuration is a plus
- Understanding of IT standards and controls
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, processes and implementation
- Excellent analytical, planning, and technical skills
