A System Engineers primary responsibility is to maintain a technical overview to ensure fulfillment of our customers needs.
In our Command & Control organization we are very busy on several new and extremely exciting projects, which means we are looking for several new system engineering colleagues to come and join us at our office in Lystrup, Aarhus.
You will be supporting one of the following projects, depending on preference, experience and demand:

Working as a system Engineer at Terma means that you will work with the entire value chain, from understanding customer needs to integration of solutions at the customer and be responsible for requirement management, as well as function as a domain knowledge expert over time.
You will have a wide range of interfaces and close cooperation with other project participants, counting among other Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Testers, and Project Managers for the entire project. While you work, you will gain increasing responsibility of the overall product functionality and performance.

Common for all is that we need competencies within the broad area of system engineering – or we are looking for you with limited experience, but with a lot of drive and motivation to learn and develop with this field. This entails that candidate, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad and have citizenship from a country that is member of NATO.

- Air defense system for the Danish Defense
- Artificial intelligence enabled intelligence exploitation for NATO
- Systems for critical infrastructure protection
Role and responsibilities
Working as a system Engineer at Terma means that you will work with the entire value chain, from understanding customer needs to integration of solutions at the customer and be responsible for requirement management, as well as function as a domain knowledge expert over time.
You will have a wide range of interfaces and close cooperation with other project participants, counting among other Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Testers, and Project Managers for the entire project. While you work, you will gain increasing responsibility of the overall product functionality and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To understand the situation of a customer and their needs, as well as the written and verbal communication, enabling you to transform this knowledge into a technical solution.
- To be responsible for verification and validation of the complete solution in cooperation with software developers and test engineers.
- To be an important sparring partner for your colleagues in and outside the team.
You will also:
- Participate in test activities necessary to ensure system and project delivery – including tests at the customer site (in Denmark, or a NATO country).
- Participate in the team alignemnt events like planning, refinement, retrospective, and review/demo.
- Spare and knowledge share with your fellow systems engineers in the C2 organization.

- An education within engineering or natural science, e.g. physics or mathematics
- Experience with system development (preferably systems engineering)
- Experience with project management (but with a technical background)
- Experience with developing systems inclose cooperation with software development and used to producing system specifications
