Solution Engineer, Lystrup

Your role in our team
The primary radar sensors are typically the central component of the larger surveillance systems. In such are several sub systems integrated, which aims to provide the best possible situational awareness under all weather conditions. As Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in securing the optimal sensor solutions are offered to our customers in close collaboration with colleagues working with Sales, Program Management, R&D and Customer Services.

You will be working with great colleagues on state-of-the-art radar technology, and you will become part of the experts who support the [xxxxx] radar portfolio when joining our team that consists of six highly experienced engineers. The team is eager to assist you and provides good opportunities for peer training, to help you succeed in the position. You should thrive working both alone and in teams, as most tasks will be completed in close cooperation with your colleagues.
You can expect the working day to be varied and the priorities to shift from time to time.

Travel activity must be expected up to 30-50 days a year.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities and tasks include:

• Definition and documentation of advanced solutions based on standard products, including responsibility for support to sales, preparation of demonstration activities, verification of solutions, support to customer projects, and support to service technicians
• Support or responsible for technical part of a tender, based on a detailed understanding of customer requirements and how they match the product portfolio
• Interpret and break down user requirements to system requirements
• During sales and implementation of the projects, you may participate as the technical lead during test, demonstration, and verification activities for example onboard a naval vessel, airport, port etc.

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are well articulated in English both in writing and speaking. Danish is also preferred but not a requirement.

• You have a relevant education, i.e. a degree in engineering or similar. Alternatively, you are an experienced technician with substantial knowledge on radar solutions
• You have experience working with systems of systems and radar systems
• You have experience in handling customer requirements
• You have experience as a technical project manager, systems engineer, systems architect, or technical lead
• It would be a plus if you have a background within defense
