Job Summary
This role will play a key initiative, to broaden Finance’s role within the International HQ for Fertility & Genomics (F&G). You will be a key business partner to help drive optimal long-term profitability, the role will predominantly provide support and discipline for Global Marketing (F&G) as well as a number of other functional HQ departments, delivering insightful information on a consistent and standardized basis to enhance management decision making.
This is a visible and hand-on role, partnering with a several business Directors, requiring good commercial and operational understanding and business acumen. Given the regional and global nature of the role, an international mind-set is beneficial to accommodate a wider customer base and to support the organizations global strategy.

Essential Functions
• To provide dedicated FP&A support to;
o Advertising & Marketing
o Customer & Technical services
o Other support functions (including IT, HR, Finance, Other G&A)
• A driving role on the preparation of the annual budget process and proposals (as well as recommendations), ensuring key risks and opportunities are identified and fully understood by the key decision makers.
• Ownership of the reporting and analysis of marketing activity and results.
• Analytically minded, to drive consistent reports and analysis of financial results to support both the timely and accurate monthly close process and management reviews.
• Key finance involvement in projects to support management decision-making, such as cost containment, working capital improvement, return on investment and cash flow analysis.
• Assist in developing Return on Investments model to provide pre and post analysis of marketing deals, campaign and promotions.
• To support the development and enhancement of Internal control processes within the business segments.
• To collaborate with the finance shared service center and financial controlling teams to ensure that key guidelines are adhered to
• Monitor and report the expenditure and headcount of applicable cost centers.

Qualifications
We imagine a candidate with experience in a similar position. Experience gained in a Global/US matrix managed business is useful. This role will be based in Denmark, and you can expect some travel activity. You must be prepared that there will be times where you have to work extended hours. Beside this, are you also good at:
• Work closely with the Functional Heads to ensure Finance is a “Trusted Business Partner”
• You have a strategic mindset, with the gravitas to challenge the norm, though strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change.
• Direct, hands-on experience in creating, tracking and controlling actual, forecasts and budget metrics, and with an active curiosity to identify opportunities to benefit the business
• Proven ability to analyze actual vs. plan results and summarize underlying drivers of variances as well as providing clear and succinct interpretation of results to management.
• Customer-oriented with a solid finance foundation
• Adaptable, being able to change in response to new information and different or unexpected circumstances.
• Ability to participate in a multi-cultural, operating environment
