The position
In OFP we are on a digital transformation journey to leverage the way we operate our business. To help us succeeding with our ambition of operating continuous, automated, and closed production processes with instant release, we are looking for a person who is driven by digitalisation and technology, and who is ready to take us to the next level.

In this position you will work with different technologies, and you will have the opportunity to learn thoroughly our process landscape and the production footprint of Novo Nordisk. Your success is dependent on your collaboration skills and ability to understand your stakeholders as well as the processes and data. You will be working across the organisation and your stakeholders will rely on your business understanding and your ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
You are expected to bring an innovative mindset to our current processes and identifying improvement opportunities using different technologies. You should foresee a dynamic environment, where you will be dealing with various activities in parallel and where flexibility will be required.

About the department
The position is anchored in the Technology Innovation Unit within OFP Manufacturing Development, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimise the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalising the processes.
The department is growing, and we are currently around 20 highly skilled colleagues with different professional backgrounds ranging from data scientists, data engineers to product owners and project managers. With the rapid advancement within digitalisation, we are expanding our department and bringing in new competences and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest technology to make a significant impact on how we operate the future manufacturing processes.

The position

Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Identify and shape the digital focus and roadmap of technology implementations in OFP
- Identify, screen, and assess use cases for future development in line with business needs
- Facilitate ideation and inspiration workshops to identify opportunities, pain-points, and possible solutions
- Challenge status quo in the organisation on systems, processes, solutions, and mindsets
- Scout new technologies from internal and external sources
- Strive for technology harmonisation and seek best practice and inspiration from across the organisation
- Be the link between OFP organisation and similar technology units across our EVP area

Qualifications
We expect you to have the following qualifications:
- An academic degree within a relevant field: digitalisation, technology, engineering, IT or similar
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment and/or GxP environment
- Experience in setting the direction and leading the stakeholders in a technology transformation or implementation process
- Experience in running ideation and maturations workshops and scout for new technologies is an advantage
- Fluent in English, oral and written

- Able to see unreleased potential in new ideas, and you embrace change
- Strong flair for stakeholder management and networking
