DATA SCIENTIST IN OFP TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION

About the department
The position is anchored in the Technology Innovation Unit within OFP Manufacturing Development, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimise the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalising the processes.
The team consist of approx. 12 highly skilled colleagues with different scientific backgrounds ranging from Product owners, Data scientists, Front-end developers and UI/UX designers. With the rapid advancement within data and analytics, we are expanding our team and bringing in new competences and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest techniques and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from the data and thus making a significant impact on how we manage the future manufacturing operation.

The position
As Data Scientist in OFP Technology Innovation, you will:
- Design/Develop/Build/Deploy & maintain Python based models
- Develop and validate algorithms based on various AI/ML approaches.
- Implement and maintain local and cloud-based data and computational environments and platforms and help to integrate data from different sources.
- Perform data pipelines (data acquisition, preparation, cleaning, and consolidation)
- Collaborate with other Data Scientists, as well as engineers and/or scientists from other areas to complete daily tasks
- Continuously interact with stakeholders and team members to ensure a flow of progress within our different projects

Qualifications
- You have a master’s degree within the field of software/modelling. Alternatively, you have extensive prior experience from the same field.
- You have a strong knowledge of Python and have written production level code
- Used to Git and working in an agile DevOps setup
- Has a basic understanding on what it takes to get models and API’s ready for production, having used FastAPI and docker is a strong plus
- Having used Pandas, Numpy and Keras, potentially in Jupyter notebooks to build AI/ML models
- You are a team player who also values the social aspect of the job
