Do you want to work with different automation solutions in our pursuit to automate Quality Control (QC) of tablets? Do you want to study how the laboratory technicians does a task, then design, build and program a solution that can help with that task- then we might have the right job for you. The position We are starting on a journey to build solutions that can assist the laboratory in performing Quality Control (QC) of Novo Nordisk Oral Finished Products (OFP). OFP is expanding rapidly in this area and to coop with the higher load, we need to automate! Therefore, Team Innovation is searching for following competencies: Identify (in collaboration with our skilled lab technicians) the process that is ready for automation and can make an impact on productivity or work environment. Identify the User Requirements Specification (URS) in collaboration with the laboratory technicians. Design the solution (We use Fusion 360 or Inventor) Present it to the user as a concept (We sometimes use HoloLens to visualise solutions) Build the solution or a prototype of the solution
Field the solution and teach the end user how to use it. You will work within all these processes, however most work will be on designing, building, and programming our solutions. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: A relevant education within automatization, ex. Robot Engineer, Automation Technician, Automation Engineer Experience with building automation and digitalization solutions Experience working with PLC and HMI Great communication and stakeholder management skills when it comes to creating and facilitating networks Strong understanding of data and programming Natural passion for doing things smarter and better Full professional proficiency in English Validation experience is an advantage As a person, you are open minded and eager to see new possibilities within our area together with that you also speak your mind with ease. Managing a large network of people is something you are driven to. Your calm, innovative and goal-oriented thinking will help succeed in this role. The workplace is placed in Måløv and it is required that 3-4 days are on-site. About OFP QC Oral Finished Product (OFP) is organizationally located in Product Supply, which globally employs approx. 14.000 of Novo Nordisk more than 43.000 employees. In OFP, we are steadily growing and at present we are approximately 1100 committed colleagues in Måløv. We have great ambitions for the future, and we are working hard to get our new product successfully distributed to market. The OFP QC area consist of approx. 140 dedicated colleagues newly divided in 3 departments, Market Release (release of product to market), New Product Entry and Analytical technology and Innovation. Team Innovation consist currently of 10 colleagues and is expected to expand during 2023 to 14 dedicated colleagues. In 2004, an ambitious and ground-breaking journey began towards becoming the world´s first pharmaceutical company to supply GLP-1-based tablets to the market. Today, many years later, we are so far that millions of patients with type 2 diabetes can access an oral alternative to injectable drugs. - Build the machine (We are working on making an innovation lab for construction of machines and prototypes using cooperative robots, 3D printers, laser cutters and maybe even CNC machines)
- Program the solution (Classic PLC programming is preferred by Novo, but we are beginning to play with Python, OpenCV, MySQL and Node Red among others)
