The Position
You will work to ensure high performance is met and that the team meets development & internal project timelines as well as quality and organizational goals. You will ensure effective resource allocation in your team. You will provide leadership and spur continuous development of the team members through coaching and dialogue, and you should motivate your team towards what is best for both the business and the team. Since we are breaking new land, prioritization, and willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities is key for success.
The team responsibilities will include maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting on all laboratory equipment in OFPQC. We have a close collaboration with vendors and across the OFPQC area, and we support our colleagues taking care of all laboratory equipment e.g. UHPLC, Dissolution, weights, Water distribution, UV, FT-IR Pipettes etc. We also participate on systematic problem solving (A3) and other cross functional activities such as training of new colleagues using the equipment and workshops regarding equipment.
As a member of the Analytical Technology and Innovation leadership team, you will participate in cross-organizational projects and collaborations. Moreover, you will lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you: Hold a Bachelors, Masters or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline Have strong leadership skills, and the ability to take the lead and focus on deliverables. Preferably you have a minimum of 3 years people management experience, but we will also consider less experience if there is a match in personality Preferably have experience from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industry Pronounced interest in equipment and new technology

The position requires engagement and ability to find solutions in challenging situations.
About the Department
Analytical Technology & Innovation (AT&I) employs approximately 45 highly skilled and motivated employees, and we are still growing. Today we are organized in 4 teams. AT&I is a support department helping its two sister departments introduce new products to the marked and preform marked release analysis. Our goal is twofold; ensuring that all equipment in QC is performing and ready to preform analysis and to innovated new way of working by introducing automation and digital solutions.
