Are you looking for an exciting position supporting our Management team and department with Project portfolio management and experienced Project manager skills? Can you see yourself as part of a team moving through the last project phases to commercial production? The position Our new department is in constant motion and every week includes new challenges and needs, new initiatives and projects. For the coming years the activities are a boiling mix of development studies, validation- and improvements as well as commercial production and strategic initiatives needed to support our capacity journey the coming years. We need a skilled and energetic Senior Project Manager to head up our project portfolio and be an integrated member of our Management team. Based on your capacity and the Department needs you will also be acting as project manager on few, strategic projects. In the Management group we are highly experienced people and production leaders but we need to extend our competencies in regards to portfolio overview and execution – and that’s where we need you! Among other tasks, you will be responsible for: The project portfolio management for the Department – incl. overviews, status communication and input to decision making and prioritisation for the management team Direct SPM support to the Department Manager and including sparring and involvement in strategic decision making based on project prioritisation, resource and platform availability Participation in Area and Site-strategic steering groups representing the Department Coaching, guidance and potentially training of junior project managers and supporters in the Department to develop a planning- and risk-based mindset We are a small and integrated management team who are all experienced, but ready to learn. And to be part of this relationship you need to be prepared to make your voice heard, dare to challenge us and to be challenged to grow and be ready to laugh a lot! Qualifications We are still establishing many critical roles in the Department and the role as SPM is one of them. This means you will be able to impact the frames of the role as you find necessary but it also requires an independent and can-do attitude. To succeed in this role, you: Have an academic degree and a proven track record within Project Management and preferably also portfolio management in a regulated industry Have strong communication skills and are not afraid to actively reach out and connect with colleagues Are good at setting direction and drive meetings, reach agreements and alignment and place the responsibilities where they belong Are ready to join a strategic environment where the coming years will contain adventures and challenges and difficult prioritisations On a personal level, your personality that invites stakeholders to reach out and contact you and you invite them in with a smile. About the department Oral Development & Finished Products is organizationally located in Product Supply and is steadily growing to support the demands of the market.
