Equipment scientist responsible for analytical and automated equipment Do you thrive in a position which offers the opportunity to take responsibility and grow person-ally and professionally? Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced Equipment Responsible to help implement, optimize, and set the direction for equipment in the Early Phase Oral Analytical De-velopment department. The Position You will be part of the analytical development laboratory for CMC Oral Product Development at Novo Nordisk A/S. Together with our equipment team, consisting of an Equipment Responsible and two Equipment Technicians, you will: • Work with continuously improving our way of working with automation, equipment and systems • Ensure our equipment is in compliance and up to date, using a data driven approach to be one step ahead on the need for equipment replacement and maintenance • Drive implementation projects of new equipment and automation • Be the primary support to our Empower and LIMS technicians and help to ensure that our systems are used as intended • Provide troubleshooting in collaboration with the technicians in connection with equipment challenges as well as method-building in Empower and LIMS • Work closely with key stakeholders, mainly laboratory technicians and other scientists within the department, as well as stakeholders in other areas of Novo Nordisk Qualifications We are looking for someone experienced in equipment qualification in a GSP/GMP environment, with a systematic approach and a strong quality mindset. You thrive in a position where you can influence and set the direction, and you feel comfortable in leading complex problem solving related to equipment issues. To be successful in the role, you: • Preferably have a science or a GMP background • Have some experience with equipment, preferably analytical laboratory equipment such as UPLC/HPLC • Previous experience within project management, qualification and metrology is an advantage • Have curiosity towards improving our labs and securing up-to-date way of working with maintenance, data and system-methods through continuous improvements • Have the right mindset, and preferably experience, to navigate the interface between GMP and non-GMP tasks. On a personal level you are result-oriented, organized, not afraid to challenge the status quo and you take pride in driving tasks forward and meeting deadlines. We also emphasize that you are a team-player who can motivate the people around you. About the Department You will be part of the analytical development laboratory for CMC Oral Product Development at Novo Nordisk A/S. The department is responsible for both development and validation of UPLC/HPLC analytical methods and QC release of oral products for preclinical and clinical trials.
