Let’s talk about the role As our new Lead UX/UI Designer, you will function as the UX partner, drive the UX track and setting the strategic UX direction for the department. On a daily basis, your work will consist of: Being able to showcase the user centric value propositions when presenting your recommendations to the department’s stakeholders Facilitating Design Thinking workshops to capture the right problems to tackle Being in the problem space until you know there is an actual problem to address – And if not, recommend we stop Feeling just as good with incremental innovation as radical innovation Working in Figma when wireframes and mock-ups are needed along with designing journey-maps making sure the audience understands the processes Thinking holistically but still design vertically What we scout for To be a strong candidate for this position, we have an idea that you will possess many to most of these: A master's degree in digital design, Business IT, or another relevant field, if not, that is ok, but prepare being able to show an awesome resume supporting that you know what you are doing At least +5 years of relevant experience delivering UX projects preferably in larger organizations and/or as a consultant Solid experience with Figma, developing Design Systems, and other prototyping tools Skills to facilitating ideation sessions, workshops and you thrive working in an agile setting Passion about driving the UX focus into digital and IT, about agile ways of working and eager to deliver value with your unique skillset Fluency in English On a personal level you are an excellent communicator and able to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Besides this, you have a strong project manager attitude, delivering on time, within agreed scope and with high quality. Since teamwork is essential for us, we expect you to be a team player who excels in a busy environment with a high degree of empowerment but comfortable with working independently as well. We welcome someone who also has a flair for graphical design, but it is not a requirement to be a graphical designer. About the IT Architecture & Systems Engineering team Research and Early Development IT (R&ED IT) is a unit in Digital, Data, and IT that provides IT solutions when new treatments are discovered, and molecules are being developed. We are the IT partner of Research and Early Development. Our responsibility is to leverage new technology and digitalization and offer a sustainable IT infrastructure needed to bring forward all the work done through important research. To highlight what we do, we build IT solutions to help capture data, provide a cloud foundation to manage the data and do advanced analytics with high-performance computing. With us in R&ED IT, you will step into a sweet spot between IT and research and be part of the first step in the process, from research to the patient. Our area counts +130 engaged employees that span Denmark, India, the US, the UK, and China. We are on a growth journey with Novo Nordisk and expect our unit to grow accordingly. You will become part of our Architecture department with 15+ people, in DDIT-R&ED located in Måløv but this role demands you to be available at all R&ED sites globally.
