During your internship, you will work with LC-MS equipment (single quad and QTof) in the department. You will participate in investigating the use of the single quad for various tasks, developing and optimising methods, processing and interpreting data using MS software and possibly Python. You will gain a lot of hands-on experience with LC-MS equipment and software, and you will have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders. As our new Intern, you will be part of a team with skilled colleagues supporting the development projects within the analysis and characterisation of peptides/proteins. Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months Working hours: 37 hours a week (with flexibility during the exam period) Start date: 01 February 2024 Location: Måløv, Denmark Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows A Danish full time worfull-timek permit is required Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams. Qualifications
You are a Student who is currently studying Master's degree in Science fields (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant scientific disciplines). To succeed in this role, you need: A positive mindset with great collaboration skills while working in teams A flair for IT and an interest in software and data handling Fluency in both spoken and written English Strong passion for analytical chemistry and familiarity with the principles of mass spectrometry Proactive attitude with eagerness to generate new ideas, take the initiative, and work with curiosity Preference: Experience with LC-MS (great advantage) Experience with or interest in Python or coding in general At Novo Nordisk, we share a passion for changing patients’ lives, and we are always looking for talented individuals who want to join us in this effort. The Department of CMC Analytical Development is part of CMC Drug Product (DP) and Analytical Development in the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Quality Operations Information Technology (PSQIT). The department is responsible for a broad and exciting range of analytical methods and technologies supporting the development and production of new drug candidates.
