Then join us in a newly established position as Software Developer in Drug Product and Analytical Development. Apply now! The position As Software Developer your main responsibility will be to build value-driving and innovative software solutions from the ground up and explore new technologies and tools to apply during the development of these solutions. As a technology choice, we are primarily focused on building full end-to-end digital solution leveraging on cloud capabilities and automated CI/CD pipelines. The job comes with great flexibility for experimentation with new technology and you can look forward to playing a key role in shaping the future in close collaboration with your colleagues in the Data Application and Support Team and across the Drug Product & Analytical Development department. You will be part of a young, dynamic team where we have fun and in your day-to-day work, you will work closely with not only your team members, but also with chemists, laboratory technicians, specialists etc. in the line of business. These are your customers, and you will have the privilege of developing software solutions that will make them more efficient in their day-to-day work going from paper to paperless laboratories. Qualifications You hold a bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science or other relevant field with +3 years relevant work experience in software development. We expect you to bring strong technical skills in both front-end and back-end development. You have worked in a team before, not been the only contributor to a code base and having delivered one or more products to production. Must have skills:
  • Experience with one of the big cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)

  • Python

  • JavaScript/TypeScript (react, nextjs, vue, nodejs, vite)

  • Experience with any database (relational or non-relational)

  • Git

  • APIs (RESTful, GraphQL)

  • Write fit-for-purpose software while not compromising on quality

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications through the whole stack

  • Design for reliability, testability and mutability

  • Deep knowledge in a few areas but able to jump in where it’s needed

About the department Drug Product & Analytical Development (DP & Ana Dev) is part of Novo Nordisk’s CMC Development and Scaling family and acts as a link between the research unit and the production, spanning from early development to phase 3 clinical trials and registration. Our ambition is to improve our patients lives by developing the world finest drug substance and injectable drug products. The position is anchored in the team Data Applications & Support, where we focus on bridging life science research and computer science by developing, implementing and operating data and software applications. We support the line of business by enable them to work efficiently through automation of repetitive tasks and accompany the business in changing for the future through data empowerment and digitalization. The team consists of highly skilled subject matter experts with different backgrounds, ranging from formulation specialists and data scientists to software developers and data engineers.
