What you will be doing As our Lead Full-stack Engineer you will use your strong technical background in developing, testing, and maintaining software products built on the Azure and AWS cloud platforms primarily in .NET Core to develop, robust, scalable web applications with a primary focus on backend. You would join one of the ARTs (Agile Release Train) teams, to support the Backend development work primarily.
The product team consists of a PO, a Scrum Master, and a team of scientific developers spanning the range of technologies. In this role your responsibilities are to: Support existing frontend technologies e.g. Blazor primarily, with exposure to React or Vue.js
Collaborate with the distributed team members to design and implement new features and functionalities Optimize and improve the performance of existing applications and systems Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code practices Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team members and help in establishing best practices for Software Development Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in .Net and cloud (AWS & Azure) Collaborate with product owner, System and Scientific Architects in the ART (Agile Release Train), and other Engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for product visuals and experience What we scout for As an ideal candidate we expect you have: Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience in developing backend systems using C# and .NET Core Expertise in Azure & AWS cloud computing platform and services Proficient in SQL databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server or Postgres Experience with RESTful APIs and web services along with skills with Azure DevOps and Github Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns as well as problem-solving and analytical skills Know-how in Agile development methodology, test driven development (TDD) and behaviour driven development (BDD) Experience with Blazor, Vue.js and other modern JavaScript frameworks considered as a plus We value teamwork and personal contributions to maintain a good work environment, we are further looking for a colleague who is open to feedback to grow new soft skills, works independently and attends to deadlines. As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in writing and speaking the language.
The team waiting for you Research and Early Development IT (R&ED IT) is a unit in Digital, Data, and IT that provides IT solutions when new treatments are discovered, and molecules are being developed. We are the IT partner of Research and Early Development. Our responsibility is to leverage new technology solutions and digitalization and offer a sustainable IT infrastructure needed to bring forward all the work done through important research. To highlight what we do, we build IT solutions to help capture data, develop applications, provide a cloud foundation to manage the data and do advanced analytics with high-performance computing. With us in R&ED IT, you will step into a sweet spot between IT and research and be part of the first step in the process, from research to the patient. Our area counts +150 engaged employees that span Denmark, India, the US, the UK, and China. We are on a growth journey with Novo Nordisk and expect our unit to grow accordingly. You will become part of our Architecture & Systems Engineering department with 15+ people, in DDIT-R&ED located in Måløv primarily, but this role demands you to be available at all R&ED sites globally.
