As a Product Development Scientist, you will be involved in bringing our new oral development projects from development to market. You will be allocated to one or more development project(s), and you will be responsible for planning, executing, concluding on, and reporting on development studies.
Your main tasks will be to: Design development studies and assist your technicians who conduct the study in our in-house laboratories/production facilities Evaluate and conclude on process and product data in order to determine the next steps in developing manufacturing processes Develop processes suitable for good manufacturing practice (GMP) production for clinical studies and ensure transfer of the process to the production responsible Scale up manufacturing processes from early clinical phases to market production and, ultimately, ensure transfer of the process to our production sites for market production. You will need to combine your process and drug product understanding, as well as cooperate with other scientists and technicians to draw conclusions about the next steps. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should: Hold a master’s degree and/or a PhD degree in science (pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, or a similar field) Have experience within Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC) or production, product development, process support, process transfer, or process validation Have knowledge of powder technology, tablet formulation/production, statistical tools (e.g., Design of Experiments), and data processing Possess project management skills to coordinate tasks relevant to facilitating development studies Have good communication skills in oral and written English.
