Are you passionate about implementing equipment, optimizing processes, and solving challenges related to production? Are you interested in contributing to the design of cutting-edge production facilities and lines for tablet manufacturing? Are you good at setting direction and use your experience from process development of oral solid dosage forms (OSDs)? If so, you might be the new colleague we are looking for! The Position
You will be on top of our oral tablet production equipment in close collaboration with your colleagues. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the production processes and that the equipment is performing as intended. To do that you will work closely together with our different production and development sites. You will drive or be part of improvements and optimizations projects with focus on the performance of the equipment. You will support technical challenges related to production and analytical equipment, such as, blenders, dry granulators, tablet presses, in-process control equipment and process analytical technologies (PAT). You will be:
• Involved in design and implementation of new equipment and technologies for new processes.
• A driver for optimization of existing production equipment.
• Ready to support the production in critical cases with short notice.
• A driver of continuous optimization of already approved products - Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Using data and your analytical skills to find the best solutions.
• Using your experience from other tablet productions to improve our quality, output, and cost.
Qualifications
As a minimum, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
• You hold a master’s degree and/or a PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
• You have experience with unit operations for tablet production - obtained either through your education or work experience.
• You possess good communication skills in both oral and written English and preferable also Danish.
It will, furthermore, be a huge advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following topics:
• Development or manufacturing of OSDs, e.g., production, product development, equipment support, process transfer, or process validation.
• Implementation of equipment for continuous manufacturing of OSDs.
• Containment systems and handling of potent compounds.
• Project and stakeholder management.
About the department
Emerging Technologies (ET) Product Development & Launch employs approximately 75 highly skilled and motivated employees with the mission to bring products from late development to market production. This includes development and optimization of the processes and products, creating the stability documentation as well as building up the documentation for the authorities for new products. The department consists of four teams: three process development teams and a stability and specification team. Here, we currently have an open position in our team Process Development 3 within the department Product Development & Launch. The purpose of the department is to bring new oral products from late phase development to market.
