As an Information Systems Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening the quality and the documentation of the compliance obligations in ABB Denmark. You will be responsible for all IS compliance areas in ABB Denmark, specially focusing on our ITGC controls for both ABB and Hitachi Energy, and you will be supporting our ITAC controls in the business. You will be responsible for SOC reporting, when applicable. You will setup and lead a team of externals, who will be performing the controls on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis, and you will join the different global forums to support and be the SPOC between ABB Denmark and the global compliance teams. In the transfer period, outsourcing the control performance, you will be the coordinator between ABB compliance leads, ABB functional analysts and the outsourcing partner. You will be driving and implementing new/changed compliance topics, new ITGC supporting tools, and you will lead eventual consequences of the NYSE de-listing in ABB Denmark.

Your responsibilities


  • Lead the outsourcing of the control performance work, today handled by ABB functional analysts, and external control performers.
  • Setup a team of externals to run the controls, do the handover in transition period, and document the control process.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of compliance to guide a team of externals to run controls on monthly/quarterly/Yearly basis
  • Provide assistance to the business, in the IT-part of their controls (ITACs).
  • Deliver future solutions for changes in the compliance area, deficiencies, and new/changed controls.
  • Act as process and control owner for all relevant controls in the IT area.
  • Be the driver of all IS compliance relevant areas in ABB Denmark including CPCP’s, walkthroughs, management testing, audits and deficiency handling.

Your background


  • 1 year of experience in the compliance area, working as control performer or control owner with knowledge about compliance tool GRCM or similar.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance.
  • Knowledge of Risk management, controls and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on your time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams.
  • A collaborative, solutions- and customer-service-oriented approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Knowledge about compliance tools e.g. GRCM.
  • General knowledge about IS area and SAP.
  • General knowledge about ITGCs and ICoFR.
  • Leadership skills to handle an external team of control performers offshore.
