Innovative and world-leading company within diagnostic hearing and balance solutions are looking for a skilled manager for Systems Engineering department.
We are establishing a Systems Engineering department under R&D, and we are looking for the right person to oversee and grow this department. If you have the skills and would like to contribute by bringing diagnostic hearing and balance solutions to the market, you might be the person we are looking for,
In this role we are looking for a Manager for Systems Engineering, who thrives in an international environment, working together with the industry’s best and brightest. You’ll be joining Interacoustics in its headquarters in Middelfart.

You will be working out of our headquarters in Middelfart, Denmark, where we support development, are responsible for manufacturing, sourcing and logistics of medical equipment for hearing and balance solutions not only for Interacoustics but also several other of the world’s leading brands in field and has facilities in Europe, the USA, and Asia. Our focus is on creating high-quality products that positively impact on all users, with particular attention to children.

Role Overview:



We are seeking an experienced Manager for Systems Engineering to build a new team and oversee the systems engineering department, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for effective results.
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of our systems engineering efforts, ensuring high standards of quality, and fostering innovation in every phase of system development.

Key Responsibilities of the Systems Engineering department:



  • Grow, guide, and mentor a team of systems engineers, test engineers, and architects to fulfill systems requirements
  • Oversee the development and implementation of systems engineering processes and methodologies
  • Ensure all projects meet regulatory standards and quality requirements & ensure traceability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems engineering activities with overall project goals
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Translate product roadmap input into platform and module overviews
  • Requirement Management
  • Test/protocol planning and reviewing the verification and validation tests and reporting
  • Risk management and DFMEA
  • Design Architecture
  • Close dialogue with category managers and other commercial colleagues to understand the customer need.


Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in design and Innovation or a related field from DTU or a similar institution
  • Extensive experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Accomplished experience in leadership and systems engineering
  • Skilled in problem-solving with an innovative mindset
  • Extensive technical skills in systems design, integration, and troubleshooting.
