MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is looking for an Engineer to join our Supply Chain Engineering Department (SCE Assembly) at our nacelle factory at Lindø, 5330 Munkebo, Denmark. With reference to the Process Engineering Manager, you can look forward to an exciting, busy and challenging job.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be cooperating extensively with Manufacturing, focusing on changes coming through the Engineering Change Management system (ECM). In addition, you will challenge new and revised designs with focus on electrical components, as well as function as the link between Manufacturing and Technology, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.
You will also:
Cooperate with Product Development during design/development of new products to identify and address risks for Manufacturing and design mistakes Take the cradle-to-grave lifecycle perspective of components Lead test assemblies of new products in our production and evaluate findings Find and propose optimisations for the products to support the production process Work closely with production personnel, assess feasibility and consequences of design change proposals in real life applications Support the Logistics department with technical expertise on components
Skills & experience: Our new colleague...
...has 2-10 years of experience with introducing new or changed designs into manufacturing. You can evaluate design and technical documents and foresee the possible impacts on production.
As a person, you are structured and systematic and able to take initiative as well as working well together with stakeholders from different departments and cultures.
We expect that you:
Are an Electrical, Mechatronics or Marine Engineer or hold a similar degree Can adapt to changes quickly Speak, read and write Danish fluently and English on a professional level Have knowledge of ECM processes and PLM systems Have solid Excel and PowerPoint skills (preferred, not required)
