Power Solutions Quality Improvements and Processes Manufacturing Readiness - NAC, HUB & PTR
The Manufacturing Readiness Nacelle, Hub end Powertrain department focus on early product development until implementation into the factories, supporting all product platforms within the Nacelle, Hub and Powertrain areas. Thus, we focus in bridging the transition from the CTO area to the COO area. Our highly skilled employees have the ability to contribute in all areas based on a comprehensive insight in product development as well as manufacturing.
The main purpose of the Manufacturing Readiness Nacelle, Hub end Powertrain is to ensure that process risks and costs are mapped as well as item verifications are done early in product development phase. We participate from early development and scoping of new product development projects until prototype productions at our production facilities. During the development phase we use various tools within the area of integrated product and process development in close corporation with designers to ensure best manufacturing practice in design.
Our focus is to guide manufacturability towards our production facilities and towards suppliers. Manufacturing Readiness Nacelle, Hub end Powertrain therefore also provide the technical capability and knowhow for running in critical components at our supplier base. We work with both known technologies and develop processes not known yet.

Responsibilities
Manufacturing Readiness Nacelle, Hub end Powertrain will also support the offshore product range going forward. As Design verification lead, Manufacturing Readiness Nacelle, Hub and Powertrain, your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure integration with the designers and other key stakeholders in the product development departments primarily but not exclusively into the offshore product segment.
- Coordinate our change management activities in the entire value chain.
- Supervise the change management team in the product and process prototype builds within all aspects in the design and assembly processes.
- Manufacturing process mapping - current & future state - for all functions and assembly processes.
- Identify critical and unknown processes as well as critical equipment's for assembly processes.
- Review of product concepts and deliveries at gate passage.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in mechanical or production engineering with Minimum 5+ years' experience in related position.
- Mechanical Design experience.
- Production experience in wind industry or similar.
- Windchill PLM Software and SAP experience is ideal.
- Documented process and product knowledge.
Competencies
- Process flow development: Ability to create process flows at early product development. You need to understand the flow and setup of the facility, and to define all your deliveries through a process flow.
- General Production Engineering Knowledge: General production concepts: Agile manufacturing, Lean Production.
- Design for assembly: Ability to understand criticality in assembly steps, able to see issues with assembly at an early design phase where design is still on paper.
- Design for manufacturing: Be able to take a component and simplify it.

- This role is based in Munkebo or Aarhus, Denmark.
- 30 days of Travel should be expected.
