As Group FP&A Director you will play a significant role in managing performance by linking corporate strategy to execution. FUTURE-NOW, our new strategy, lays out how COWI will accelerate its growth based on the green transition. A crucial part of succeeding with our green agenda and growth plans is a strong and healthy finance organization including a skilled FP&A function.
JOIN GROUP FINANCE IN LYNGBY, DENMARK
In Group Finance, you will become part of COWI's Business Support. Group Finance numbers about 250 employees ensuring the financial backbone of COWI. As part of Group Finance, you will help empower stakeholders, shape decision-making, and create the agility that will strengthen COWI's competitive edge.
The Group FP&A department will be a key function in Group Finance responsible for utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analyses of all operational aspects of the company to evaluate the company’s progress toward achieving its strategic aspirations and sustainable value creation (in terms of social, environmental and financial performance)
DEVELOP A GROUP FP&A FUNCTION AS A KEY PARTNER TO EXECUTIVE BOARD
In this position, your primary task will be to build group FP&A capabilities and thereby be the group process owner of the strategic and financial steering wheel. You will be part of the Group FP&A and Value Steering function, which in addition to FP&A also includes a transformation, data & analytics Center of expertise and is currently maturing its capabilities within ESG integrated reporting. You will report to and collaborate closely with the SVP of Group FP&A and Value Steering, Nicolas Jonard, and you will be a key strategic and operational advisor to the Executive Board.

- You will be responsible for defining the capabilities needed in Group FP&A and designing the collaboration model with other corporate and business lines functions, ultimately to build a fit for purpose team
- As a leader, you will inspire, guide and develop your team
- As global process owner, you will be responsible for the planning and execution, at group level, of the key processes of COWI's strategic and financial wheel
- You will drive the development of COWI’s value steering model, translating “COWI Future-Now” holistic strategy into a steering logic (KPIs and targets) embedded in strategic and financial steering processes
- You will oversee the overall financial performance and outlook for the group, continuously monitoring the short and long-term drivers impacting COWI, and advising the Executive Board on risks and mitigating actions

To succeed in this position, we believe that you possess
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Outstanding design thinking, problem-solving and story-telling capabilities
- Strong planning and execution skills – systematic, pragmatic and effective
- A solid understanding and a keen interest in data, digitalization, and system implementation
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building teams and collaborating across teams

- High pro-activity, personal drive and resilience to drive change
Furthermore, you have
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or business administration, or other relevant education
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated successful experience within a similar financial planning and analysis role in a global organization, with a proven track record to confidently and collaboratively drive financial processes at corporate level
- Proven track record within business partnering
- Solid financial management and accounting toolbox
