JOIN OUR MARINE DEPARTMENT IN COPENHAGEN
Our Marine and Foundations department offers a full range of services related to design of harbours and marine terminals. Being recognized by contractors, operators and asset owners as an established consultancy in the domain, we are continuously involved in landmark marine projects such as Laayoune phosphate terminal in Morocco and Abo Qir Port Expansion in Egypt.
Further to that, we are actively trying to address the challenges of tomorrow and support our customers in accelerating the green transition. This covers everything from paradigm-shifting projects such as Wind Energy Island in the North Sea to supporting Danish Energy Agency in assisting their partners to plan the port infrastructure for large scale deployment of offshore wind, including the floating.
EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL WITHIN A TEAM OF EXPERTS
We are looking for an engineer with a background in design of ports and terminal structures.
You will join the marine civil structures group where you will be involved in design of port and terminal structures such as suspended decks, dolphins, quay walls, caissons, trestles, cope beams, water intakes, etc. Apart from that, you will be given an opportunity to work with wide range of urban civil structures, protection of assets from climate changes and take part in other projects that are part of Transport portfolios.
You will be supported by senior colleagues to further develop your structural design skill set and other relevant domain expertise. You will also engage with geotechnic and hydraulic engineers in a cross-discipline design process and be involved in operational planning of marine facilities.
You will be a part of a group on accelerated path towards full digital project delivery. This means that you will get opportunity to bring together parametric design and BIM authoring in a seamless process which allows for rapid changes and sensitivity analysis without repetitive manual redesign.

We believe you are a team-oriented person, structured, detail-orientated, curious, and motivated.
We would be very excited to hear from an experienced marine engineer who:
- Holds an M.Sc. in structural engineering with 4-6 years of experience.
- Has a documented history of project delivery.
- Has worked with design of vessel berths (embedded walls, suspended decks, caissons).
- Has at least a partial background or experience in at least one of the marine disciplines associated with port projects (quay equipment, scour protection, elements of navigation and operations).
- Has an understanding of relevant building industry codes (Eurocode, BS 6349, PIANC, etc.).
- Has experience in at least one of the common FEM structural packages.
