As a Mechanical and Piping Professional in Fill & Finish Expansions and Tech Standards, you will be a vital part of the Facility & Maintenance department. You will aid in the development and implementation of new production facilities at a mechanical level, including process equipment and Clean & Industrial Utility. Moreover, you will work alongside highly skilled colleagues and the Mechanical and Piping Lead within the team.
Areas of responsibility will include: Supporting the team in any means regarding Engineering Standards and components engineering specifications Streamlining design and setting technical guidelines in multiple locations for future efficiency in technical development Risk Management: Perform risk management to minimize project risks by identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions Quality review: Oversee incoming and outgoing project documentation while conducting project reviews to identify and resolve potential issues Translating technology and equipment decisions into operational procedures for proper maintaining a GMP facility and equipment Participate in 3D model design reviews In addition, the position involves a high degree of stakeholder management within the organization, such as process SMEs, equipment owners, Novo Nordisk sites and external partners.
This position will involve collaborating with our global sites. To facilitate this, some travel would be expected, which is estimated at 6-8 trips per year.
The team currently consists of 11 colleagues with very different backgrounds, professionally and personally. The team is growing, and we value differences in perspective and experience. Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you need to have: An academic or technical degree within mechanical, chemical or process engineering, life science or similar Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably from a pharmaceutical production facility Understanding of GMP requirements Strong technical skills within piping and mechanical designs Capable of leading designs also trough stakeholders and partners Experience in using CAD software and have hands-on experience in designing prototypes for testing and retrofitting current mechanical systems for improvements Fluency in written and spoken English As a person, you take initiative naturally and have a strong personal drive, a quality mindset, and a drive to create the “right” solutions while challenging the status quo. You thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and able to demonstrate attention to detail and are structured when it comes to problem-solving. Furthermore, you have good stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relations on a global scale and embrace professional and personal diversity. About the department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, which was established 18 months ago and is a growing area within Novo Nordisk. Our responsibility is to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. Furthermore, the department’s responsibility is to support the various disciplines required to establish a new production facility. We are rethinking our drug product facilities with the use of modern technology, setting the standards for the drug product production of the future. Contact
