We are looking for a Pharmaceutical Senior Project Manager to join our Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) team in Novo Nordisk. If you have a strong track record in project management and are ready to make a difference in the lives of millions of patients, read on and apply today for a life-changing career! The Position
In this role, you will be in charge of a project that spans across multiple CVP areas. The project is crucial for the objectives of several CVP areas in the coming years. To achieve the project goals, you need to align and coordinate all the areas involved in the same direction and pace. You will use standard project management tools and a strong motivation to report and communicate about the project progress regularly. As a Pharmaceutical Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:
• Oversee and lead the core part of the project, working closely with local project managers.
• Build and manage a team of highly skilled coworkers from various fields.
• Lead and manage a steering group with directors/VPs, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and risks.
• Continuously improve project setup and apply learnings for future executions, while identifying and resolving project obstacles and disputes.
• Implement project management best practices, methods, and tools, and constantly evaluate and enhance project delivery processes. Your workplace will be based in Lyngby, but as there is collaboration required on a global scale, little travel activity is to be expected. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be energetic, optimistic, and able to create and execute plans and communicate complex topics in a simple way. Clear and distinct communication in English, both written and spoken, is essential for the role. Also, this person should have experience in understanding project requirements, updating ongoing projects and finding the right people for the project. To be successful in this position, you should have:
• An academic degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 7+ years of experience in project management related to the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, and the ability to apply them to a range of project types.
• The ability to create an overview of complex processes, including data structures and risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
• An understanding of GMP and the regulatory landscape. As an individual, you should be able to work with colleagues at all levels, with different skills, cultures, and physical locations. You set high standards for your work and see collaboration as a key factor in success. You are a team player who excels at managing complex dependencies between different areas in a structured way.
