Blue Ocean Robotics develops, produces and sells professional service robots primarily in healthcare, hospitality, construction and agriculture. The portfolio of robots includes such brands as Beam Robots; a mobile telepresence robot for communication, social inclusion and CO2 reductions. UVD Robots; a mobile robot for disinfection. PTR Robots; a mobile robot for safe patient handling and rehabilitation; as well as others.
Blue Ocean Robotics develops the robots from problem, idea and design to development, commercialization, and all the way to exit. Each robot is moved into its own subsidiary-venture company, making Blue Ocean Robotics the world’s first Robot Venture Factory. Among other things, Blue Ocean Robotics has won one of the robot industry’s most prestigious international awards, the IERA Award 2019.

The responsibilities of this position includes:
- Assist R&D with the production of prototype robots.
- Carry out repairs, refurbishment and test on customer robots, sent to the workshop at the new headquarters on Svendborgvej in Odense. This as a part of the strategy Robots as a service.
- During periods participate in production with assembly and testing of robots (Electrical / mechanical).
In order to strive under these conditions, the ideal candidate should have:
- A background from a hardware manufacturing company or have worked as an installer for more than 3 years.
- You are trained either as an electrician, automation technician or electrical installation person
- You have a background with mechanical assembly and electrical assembly.
- You are structured, organized and meticulous about your work
- You have a desire to carry out several tasks, among other things, production.
- You can read and understand electrical technical documentation
- You must master English in both writing and speech
- You are flexible, keen to make a difference, and can make the extra effort when needed.
- You have advantageous experience with computers and IT structures possibly. project management tool (not required)
