As our Health Economics & Evidence Manager, you will work in close collaboration with regional and affiliate colleagues to plan and execute our activities within health economics, real world evidence as well as other evidence generation activities for payers across the region. You will contribute to securing the best possible access for products across the portfolio and to making sure our disease areas are prioritized by payers and health systems. You will have opportunities to shape evidence generation and HE analyses across several therapies as well as dive into the details of the needs and requirements of stakeholders in individual markets across our region. Your responsibilities include: Plan and conduct health economic analyses for inclusion in reimbursement submissions Assist affiliates in the region with cost-effectiveness analyses and budget impact analyses for submissions to payers/HTA Map evidence needs across markets in the region and summarize into evidence generation plans and clinical development input Participate in planning and execution of real world studies Drive health economic/real world data publication planning and execution Develop and inspire affiliate colleagues by implementing best practice sharing and providing skills trainings to enhance health economic/real world data skills Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in health economics & outcomes research from an affiliate, regional or headquarter role or from consultancy Experience conducting cost-effectiveness analyses for inclusion in submissions to payers and HTA Experience developing or adapting cost-effectiveness models and budget impact models Experience with mapping of evidence needs and turning findings into evidence generation plans Experience providing input to global drug development and clinical trial protocols Experience planning and conducting real world studies Strong project management skills Fluency in written and spoken English on a professional level Master's degree in relevant field, e.g., health economics, public health or pharmacy Experience with HEOR analyses conducted in markets covered by the region is an advantage About the department In External Affairs, we lay the foundation for strong relationships with external stakeholders and optimise patients’ access to products across our portfolio. As access is increasingly important for the commercial success of our products, a key challenge is to get decision makers across health systems to support funding of innovative medicines. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, we establish strategies and tactics for engagement with stakeholders in the European health systems such as payers, policy makers and HTA bodies and subsequently support the implementation in collaboration with our local counterparts.
