The Position As our Senior Market Access Director, you will be responsible for setting directions, developing, and implementing market access strategies for our CVD & Emerging Therapy Areas (CETA) pipeline products across Region Northwest Europe (NWE). You will engage diverse stakeholders across healthcare landscapes to forge solutions that drive patient access to innovative products. This position reports to the Vice President of External Affairs. Furthermore, you will:
  • Represent Market Access & Public Affairs as part of our cross-functional Centre of Excellence in CETA within the Region
  • Secure preparation of comprehensive HTA submissions and payer engagement plans across markets in Region NWE
  • Influence global and IO-SO market access strategies and evidence generation based on understanding of NWE needs
  • Assure support to and challenge of affiliates in the Region with development of market access strategies and planning
  • Coach and guide the team towards success, by setting clear directions and prioritisation
    • Qualifications To be successful for this position you have +7 yrs of experience within a pharmaceutical/biotech company or as a consultant within the life science industry. You bring significant experience in Market Access/External Affairs, and you excel in leadership. In addition, you have:
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree within economics, public health, epidemiology or similar
  • Excellent communication and stakeholders’ management skills with the ability to influence and bring results
  • High level of independence and decision making
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English on a professional level
    • About the Department In External Affairs, we lay the foundation for strong relationships with external stakeholders and optimise patients’ access to products across our portfolio. As access is increasingly important for the commercial success of our products, a key challenge is to get decision makers across health systems to support funding of innovative medicines. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, we establish strategies and tactics for engagement with stakeholders in the European health systems such as payers, policy makers and HTA bodies and subsequently support the implementation in collaboration with our local counterparts.
